In 1992, the Molėtai Road Transport Company was split into state owned Road Freight Fleet Company and the state owned Molėtai Bus Fleet. The bus fleet became a municipal enterprise. In 1995, Molėtai Bus Fleet was registered as a Special Purpose Private Limited Liability Company UAB Molėtų autobusų parkas. On October 10,2003 Special purpose private limited company UAB Molėtų autobusų parkas was re-registered as Private Limited Liability Company UAB Molėtų autobusų parkas. UAB Molėtų autobusų parkas provides regular passenger transportation services on suburban routes. The company is also engaged in additional activities – renting buses for trips, excursions, transporting small parcels by bus, providing luggage storage services, renting advertising space on buses, renting premises.
