VKC HAS TAKEN GOOD EXPERIENCES FROM COLLEAGUES IN SWEDEN
In order to strengthen international cooperation, representatives of the Governance Coordination Center participated in a good practice exchange visit in Stockholm, Sweden, on November 6-7.
Meetings were held with representatives of the Department of Public Enterprises of the Swedish Ministry of Finance, as well as a visit to the largest company in the Swedish forestry sector, „Sveaskog“, and „SOS Alarm Sverige“, which accepts calls to the emergency number 112.
“For some time now, we have been fostering cooperation with our Swedish colleagues both in common OECD formats and in bilateral partnership. The exchange of best practices leads to greater professionalism, so we are glad that we can share with foreign partners and learn together not only the good practices of SOE management, but also the organizational aspects of SOE coordination activities”, says Vidas Danielius, head of the Governance Coordination Center.
During the visit to Sweden, the peculiarities of SOE cooperation with shareholders and the challenges of strategic planning and setting performance measurement indicators (KPIs) were explored.
