Representatives of the Governance Coordination Center visited the joint-stock company Lithuanian Airports
On September 8, representatives of the Management Coordination Center (GCC) visited the joint-stock company Lithuanian Airports, where they met with the company’s management, got acquainted with the updated strategy of the company, and had the opportunity to see the new Vilnius Airport departure terminal, which will start operating at the beginning of February next year.
The CEO of Lithuanian Airports, Simonas Bartkus, presented the key strategic priorities and directions to the GCC representatives. After the presentation, a brief discussion followed about the main challenges in carrying out the planned tasks.
According to GCC Director Vidas Danielius, the updated strategy of Lithuanian Airports is very focused and ambitious. It perfectly reflects the goal of the ongoing reform of state-owned enterprises in Lithuania – to ensure that corporate governance is transparent, based on good management principles, and aimed at clear goals.
‘We are pleased that, thanks to such meetings, we can continue to successfully strengthen cooperation between GCC and state-owned enterprises. We hope that Lithuanian Airports will successfully achieve its set goals, which are aimed at quantitative and qualitative expansion and will significantly contribute to the country’s economic growth,’ said V. Danielius.
We thank Lithuanian Airports for a productive meeting!
