This topic was discussed in the context of an OECD review study aimed at assessing how state objectives for SOEs are defined and implemented across different countries. This allows for comparison of international practices and identification of potential areas for improvement in Lithuania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Discussions also covered the latest international trends related to strengthening the state\u2019s role as an owner, strategic decisions on SOE acquisitions and privatisation, risk management, and the integration of sustainability into SOE governance practices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the meeting of the OECD working group, preliminary results of the 2026 OECD data collection on SOE ownership and governance were presented. The group also discussed the programme directions for 2027\u20132030 and upcoming activity priorities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Governance Coordination Centre represents Lithuania in the OECD Working Party on State Ownership and Privatisation Practices.
